Jarrod is the operator and owner of Just Basl Productions. He is a director, videographer, photographer, editor and writer.

Jarrod grew up in a small town in Oregon. He has since relocated to Seattle where he works on various projects throughout the western states.

After his first music video that he directed while attending the Art Institute of Seattle for Audio Production, he discovered his passion for film and media. After graduating with Honors from the Art Institute of Seattle, Jarrod quickly started Just Basl Productions. Since then he has shot many commercials that have be aired over cable TV and major internet streaming sites.

In addition to filming, Jarrod has manufactured and filmed the process of designing and building many camera rigs. This has made a big impact on the budget filming community. With using regular hardware store materials, Jarrod has constructed camera gear that is not only durable but professional looking as well. When the HDSLR hit the market, Jarrod jumped on board and welcomed this new found technology with an open mind. All of Jarrod’s new work has been shot completely on HDSLR’s. He continues to master the technology and find new ways to harness its capabilities.
